Job Details Job Level: W2T Consultant Job Location: Hybrid/Onsite – Must be a local candidate willing to work onsite in the client's office 3x week downtown Chicago Travel Expectations: None Job Classification: Temporary (W2T) Role Overview In this role, you will lead UI/UX design initiatives to deliver cohesive and engaging user experiences across web and landing pages. You will act as a senior design resource, guiding the team while maintaining alignment with an existing FTE lead. You will develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and conduct user research and usability testing to refine design solutions and improve the user journey. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure design consistency and feasibility, while maintaining brand standards and adopting modern UI/UX methodologies. You will communicate design rationale and insights to leadership and technical teams. Responsibilities Lead UI/UX design initiatives, ensuring cohesive and engaging user experiences across web and landing pages. Conduct user research and usability testing to refine design solutions and enhance the user journey. Maintain brand standards while innovating user-centric solutions that improve engagement and usability. Utilize industry best practices to drive design excellence and modern UI/UX methodologies. Effectively communicate design rationale and insights to leadership and technical teams. Who You Are A senior UI/UX designer with leadership experience and the ability to act as a "player-coach". Adept at working in a collaborative environment, balancing leadership responsibilities while working with an FTE lead. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and align cross-functional teams. Proficient in UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design platforms. Experienced in designing and integrating landing pages with other enterprise systems. Capable of translating business and technical concepts into layman's terms to align stakeholders. Passionate about delivering exceptional client and employee experiences. A strategic thinker who can prioritize effectively and adapt quickly to new challenges. Experienced in Agile methodologies, iterative design processes, and user-centered design principles.
