Indotronix is seeking a UI/UX Designer in Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client tech hub locations with our Direct client

Position: UI/UX Designer

Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Position Location: flexible work by preference: 1. Pittsburgh(PA)

2. All other Tech Hubs - Dallas(TX), Phoenix(AZ), Birmingham(AL), and Strongsville(OH)

Ability to work remotely: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remote

Duration: Contract to hire

Initiatives/Projects:

Overarching FIGMA component work, strategic approaches to design tokens

Industry background:

Illustration Background strongly preferred, Studio Art Degree, Graphic Design

Roles and Responsibilities:
•Create and update documentation and graphics for design docs
•Build, fix, and test Figma components
•Create dev specs
•Design and test Angular components
•Collaborate with content and ADA accessibility partners
•Stay up to date on competitive analysis of other design systems
•Answer help desk questions
•Attend or facilitate open office hours
•Attend or facilitate early Design Reviews with product designers
•Attend or facilitate design system Design Reviews
•Attend or facilitate design system governance meetings
•Research, audit, and prepare topics for design system governance meetings
•Attend or facilitate working sessions across product design teams to align
•Work on special projects as requested

3-5 years +

•Design Systems
•Figma
•Manage Meetings & Presentations
•Systems Thinking
•UI Design, UX Design, Design System
•Individual Contributor Designer

Education/Certifications:
•Bachelor's Degree in related field experience in lieu of degree
•UX Bootcamp Design certificates accepted
