As we prepare for our next growth phase, we’re seeking a passionate and skilled Senior User Experience Designer to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the UX vision and strategy, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences across mobile and web platforms.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced UX designer to lead the user experience strategy at Qrkiez Inc. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, engaging, and user-centered experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This role is equity-based until our next round of funding, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who believes in our mission and wants to be part of something transformative from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end UX design process for both mobile and web platforms, from research to implementation.

• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability studies to gain insights into user behavior and needs.

• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business goals and user expectations.

• Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.

• Advocate for a user-centered design approach, ensuring accessibility, usability, and aesthetic excellence.

• Establish design guidelines, best practices, and UX standards to maintain consistency across the platform.

• Analyze and interpret user data to inform design decisions and iterate on existing features.

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices to continuously improve our offerings.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in user experience design, with a strong focus on mobile and web applications.

• Proven expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design decisions.

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture.

• Experience working in early-stage startups or with equity-based compensation is a plus.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design work, research insights, and problem-solving abilities.
