Job Description
To our Innovation & Experimentation Center of Excellence , we are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join a dedicated team focused on driving cultural and operational transformation within a large, traditional multinational company. Your role will be critical in supporting the organization’s transition towards a mindset of innovation, experimentation, and user-centered design . As a Senior UX Researcher, you will lead efforts to uncover valuable user insights that will shape the development of new products, services, and business models, helping the company adapt to a rapidly evolving market.
In addition to robust research expertise, we are looking for a candidate who excels in leadership, teamwork, and collaboration , and can communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead user research projects aimed at supporting the company’s shift toward a culture of innovation and experimentation, influencing key decisions around efficiency and efficacy to keep a fast response to market's constant changes.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, business stakeholders, IT staff, and overall leadership to integrate user insights into the development process and encourage an experimentation-driven approach.
- Utilize a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather deep insights into user needs, behaviors, and pain points, and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Support and advocate for user-centered design principles within a traditionally structured organization, influencing leadership and team members to adopt new ways of thinking.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions to promote collaboration and foster a mindset of innovation across the organization.
- Mentor junior researchers and non-research team members on best practices for user research and experimentation.
- Present research findings and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, driving alignment on product strategies.
- Stay informed about worldwide industry trends, emerging tools, and methodologies to continually bring fresh ideas to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in design-related practices, including UX research, with a strong track record of applying research to support digital transformation efforts.
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies , with experience in working within traditional corporate environments that are transitioning to innovative, user-driven/experimentation approaches.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex research insights to a wide range of audiences.
- Experience with design thinking or similar frameworks aimed at fostering creativity and innovation within established organizations.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams through collaborative workshops, research synthesis sessions, and user-focused brainstorming activities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence teams across various departments to embrace experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills:
- Leadership: Adept at guiding teams through change, mentoring junior team members, and influencing senior leadership to embrace a culture of user-centered design and experimentation.
- Collaboration: Proven experience working across departments and breaking down silos in traditional corporate environments, facilitating innovation and teamwork.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating organizational challenges and cultural resistance, with the resilience to drive transformation.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and communicate the value of UX research to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Haves:
- Experience working in large multinational companies , especially in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, finance, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean UX methodologies, especially in environments transitioning to more flexible workflows.
- Knowledge of service design, business model innovation , or related fields that focus on transforming traditional business practices.
