Title: Senior User Experience Designer
Location: Charlotte, NC/Atlanta, GA
Onsite/Remote: 1 Day - (Remote)
Shift: (Monday - Friday 9:00 am-5:00 pm) EST
Duration: 12 Months – (Contract To Hire)
Description:
Business Initiative/Purpose:
• Support Design of Branch Transformation including design of digital products to be used by clients and teammates in the branch.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead design activities in cross-functional development teams to create industry leading experiences for our clients, teammates and the business.
- Participate in design driven programs to define insights, create solutions and advocate for client needs.
- Design and deliver artifacts across a variety of environments.
- Strong knowledge of design standards, industry guidelines, and best practices with the ability to push beyond to uncover new and distinctive solutions.
- Consult and collaborate with talented teams in a supportive, complex environment and develop an understanding of broader organizational context and goals.
- Use storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships.
- Stay current on trends, theories, methods and processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2+ years of experience in the field (may include equivalent education).
- Experience designing iOS apps for iPad, experience working with and building Design System.
- Excellent ability to communicate ideas and rationales to influence decision-making.
- Strong understanding and application of industry and discipline standards.
- Excellent time and issue management skills.
- Experience creating artifacts and executing ideas.
- Strong ability to give and accept critique, coaching, and feedback.
- Proficiency in applicable software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience interacting with creative teams, business owners and technical teams.
- Working knowledge of engineering/development processes, particularly Agile.
- Comfort level in working within a self-directed culture and navigating ambiguity.
- A strong passion for improving people's lives through design.
