What you’ll be doing:
Future Creative is the global in-house branded content agency at Future Publishing Ltd. We exist to ignite audience passions, taking data, insights, and creativity and smashing it all together to make sparks for brands.
The agency consists of all pre-sale to post-sale functions that develop client-led campaigns for our passion-fueled media brands, including Integrated Marketing, Media Planning, Branded Content, Branded Social, Influencer Marketing, and Branded Events.
As a Creative Director in the Future Creative US team, you will lead one-of-a-kind campaigns for multiple global brands from creative brief to launch. You’ll work with an internal team of art directors, branded content writers, designers, integrated marketers, social strategists, and content producers to create innovative work by coming up with campaign ideas for Future’s premium brands including Who What Wear, Marie Claire, Homes & Gardens, Tom’s Guide, TechRadar, LivingEtc., Kiplinger, and more.
You will play a critical role in the pre-sale room, digesting our client brief and developing 360-integrated campaigns that fulfill KPIs while also meeting Future brand’s audience expectations. You will create high-level creative marketing strategies that solve our needs for Luxury, Beauty, Fashion, Tech, and Gaming categories.
You’ll have familiarity with audience behavior and content strategy for media channels including social, newsletter, on-site, and OOH, creating tailored content across channels driving the marketing goals of advertisers and knowing the audience behavior of consumers. You will also work with production agencies and source the right vendors and content creators to build the campaigns against the intended vision.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve:
- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy at an agency or in-house creative team experience.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Platforms, and Keynote.
- Experience developing relationships with product, consumer research, and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that inspire compelling creative projects.
- Experience leading creative development from concept to delivery.
- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, art directors, external agencies, and freelancers).
- Experience presenting creative concepts to senior executives and clients.
- Experience managing multiple projects in pre-sale and post-sale.
- Experience leading brainstorming sessions, inspiring different pathways.
- Awareness of current and emerging trends in creative advertising, design, and content.
- Experience creating materials to respond to RFPs within 3-5 business days.
- Creative thinking and ideation skills, with an understanding of the partnership process of an RFP within media/digital publishing.
- In-depth technical knowledge of design workflows, trends, and best practices.
- Experience with management and workflow of campaign production, with a rolodex of external producers, content creators, and vendors.
- Experience training peers and team members, particularly sales and marketing teams.
