Position Description
Working collaboratively within the Honors College, program, test, implement, and maintain web projects under direct supervision. Handle basic issues and problems. Project development includes coordination with designers, managers, other developers, and IT support personnel. Research, program, document, and modify web projects throughout their life cycle. Learn through training, individual research, and/ or additional education.

Major/Essential Functions
Provide support and maintenance services for existing Honors College website; develop new and exciting interactive experiences. The successful candidate would be expected to develop new, updated, and exciting interactive experiences for the look, layout, and features of the Honors College website. Ensure intended design, performance, and accessibility of new and existing web properties via front- and back-end (full stack) development. Perform any other closely related professional services typically associated with website development, maintenance, and support, including but not limited to activities such as: Editing content; Creating back up files; Solving code problems; Preparation of documentation and reports related to web projects; End-user interface. Engage in professional development activities, including but not limited to, membership in professional organizations, attendance at conferences, workshops, division, and College training sessions. Participate in the life of the College. Attend Medallion and Convocation ceremonies within the College. Other problem-solving tasks; Duties assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or associates' degree in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related field plus one year of experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate has advanced technical skills; is experienced and skilled in Omni; understands and applies modern day web design principles, best practices, and conventions; communicates clearly and effectively; thrives in a team environment; is solutions-oriented; wants to build best-in-class digital experiences. Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to keep accurate, detailed records; ability to handle large volumes of work; a minimum of two years' work experience involving detailed web-based work and customer service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working collaboratively within a team to promote academic success and student wellbeing. Safety Information

Pay Statement
