Direct message the job poster from World Wide Technology Talent Acquisition and Global Strategic Resourcing at World Wide Technology Job Title: Network Engineer Duration: 6+ months extendable contract with possibility to convert PROJECT DETAILS We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer with a strong background in enterprise networking and data center environments, including a deep understanding of security practices and infrastructure implementation. This engineer will be primarily responsible for building transition documents to support a large-scale data center migration. The ideal candidate is process-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable maneuvering in complex environments with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive transition documentation using a pre-defined template. Analyze and correct virtual port channel (VPC) configurations to meet enterprise standards. Audit and revise physical data center connections to ensure reliability and prevent outages. Support the development and implementation of a revised IP strategy, including new subnets and VLAN structures. Provide periodic status updates, highlighting progress and any blockers. Be available during change windows as needed to support migration activities. Participate in the candidate evaluation phase (if converted to full-time or long-term role) by contributing to technical discussions and providing documentation support. Qualifications: Strong security background in enterprise network environments.
