Overview
We are a Home textile company seeking an experienced cad designers to join our in-house design studio. Our products include, bedding (comforters, quilts) , window curtains Candidates should have Bachelor Degree in Textile design with an interest in home fashion. THIS IS FOR ON SITE IN OUR NYC HEADQUARTERS
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Textile Design, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of textile design work experience in Home categories
- Must be expert level in Adobe Creative Suite, as well as Nedgrahpics
- Must be skilled at CAD, creating colorways, renderings and product mockups
- Must be skilled at creating and manipulating print/pattern artwork
- Experience and expertise developing product directly with factories.
- Thorough understanding of development process cycle from concept through launch
- Extensive experience and technical knowledge of textiles, fabrications, construction, printing and manufacturing techniques
- Highly developed taste level and sense of color
- Understanding of the Home Space landscape, & overall design trends
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and adapt to change.
- Ability to successfully and efficiently manage workload.
- Extremely organized and highly detail-oriented excellent calendar adherence and ownership
- Excellent time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range 70k- 90K
