Responsibilities
- Coordinating all activities for development and accuracy of new or revised technical publications, including operator manuals, maintenance manuals, equipment specifications, repair parts lists and miscellaneous other instructional literature.
- Prepare creative designs, photos or related drawings or details; uses designs to develop specifications or estimates of materials needed for a project.
- Drafting duties required , involving new and revised prints using AutoCAD and 3-D AutoDesk Inventor
- May be responsible for sending out new product releases and ECN's to fulfillment, purchasing and outside vendors
- Update and maintain existing documentation
- All other duties as assigned
Benefits Include
- Pay range of $45,000 - $60,000.
- Productivity bonus, paid quarterly. Average payout was $6,000. Payouts are based on overall company profitability and attendance.

Location & Commitments
- Permanent full-time role based in Dixon, IL
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 2+ years of in design/drafting or technical writing experience
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Strong research skills
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and logically
- Strong knowledge of the English language including rules and usage
- Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources (subject matter experts, product managers)
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management skills with ability to balance multiple short and long-term projects
- 18 Years or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
- Experience in desktop publishing, screen capture, graphics modification, and using common authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat and MS Office
- Experience with the latest releases of AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor programs
Salary Description
$45,000-$60,000
