We are seeking a Videographer / Photographer to produce compelling video and photo content in our in-house studio and location shoots for web and digital, e-commerce, print, and events. The Senior Video/Photographer executes high-quality visual content that upholds and elevates brand standards while satisfying business objectives. Collaborates with in-house creative teams to align on video/photo direction that maintains brand continuity throughout product imagery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with other team members to plan shot lists, maintains the pace of the outlined shooting schedule, and identifies any needed adjustments to the schedule
- Takes high-quality and Lo-fi video and photo content that meets the needs of in-house teams for e-commerce, digital, print, and events.
- Utilizes professional camera and lighting equipment in a well-equipped studio
- Film and photograph Lo-fi content
- Configures the lighting of the set to match the creative vision and/or technical guidelines for each project whether natural or artificial
- Strictly follows technical image and video standards for composition, color consistency, lighting, and file naming
- Able to perform all post-production tasks on all deliverables including video editing, color correction, and photo retouching
- Films and Photographs corporate events or portraits as needed
- Maintains flexibility by working cross-functionally on special projects as directed by other departments.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management
- Ensures final deliverables are imported, organized, cataloged, and exported into a shared environment
- Determines lighting requirements, composition, background, props, and product set up as well as any additional specifications to ensure quality assets
- Styles and sets up shots when no stylist is available
- Keep up with industry trends, tools, and techniques
- Maintains studio equipment and recommends replacement equipment as needed
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of commercial videography/photography experience, including significant experience photographing and filming models
- Beauty videography and photography experience preferred
- Advertising, event, fashion, or catalog video/photo experience a plus
- Expert knowledge of mirrorless cameras, continuous and flash lighting, and other commercial video/photo studio tools and equipment
- Proficiency with post-production programs including Adobe Premiere / Final Cut, Photoshop, CapCut, Da Vinci, and After Effects
- Solid understanding of retouching and image processing techniques in Adobe Photoshop
- Proficiency with Macintosh OS
- Ability to travel to Color Street events occasionally (includes some nights, weekends, and international travel)
- A keen aesthetic derived from traditional education or training in the visual arts
- Ability to work well under pressure, receiving and implementing feedback while keeping up in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally work overtime and be flexible with work schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, in response to the production schedule and company needs
- A film and photography portfolio that demonstrates knowledge and skill in engaging content using lighting, composition, and aesthetics is required
