Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and basic duties.Essential Functions Statement(s)Collaborate closely with manager and designersAssist design team with producing print, packaging, advertising, shipping, and digital graphicsMake various formats of supplied artwork production-ready and resolve any artwork issues that arise during productionPrint, cut, and mount projects as neededCreate and manipulate graphics through Adobe Creative Suite apps such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesignUse great design skills to develop sales materials, packaging, social media graphics, online image content, and corporate literatureReview and proof graphic materials before the projects are marked as completeCreate PDFs for print and reviewAssess project specifics and create a final product that adheres to those requirementsCollaborate with the design team staff to define design goalsFollow development timelines to ensure projects are completed on timeTroubleshoot any problems with the design team and the printerCatalog produced images and graphics for future projectsStay up to date with new production techniques and trends through research and educationProvide physical assistance on Photo Sessions when neededPOSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducationHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)A Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art, Marketing, or other related positions is preferredSignificant coursework in graphic design, print production, visual arts, or a related field, along with an outstanding portfolio and experience that demonstrates clear knowledge of print production and design, may suffice in the absence of a degreeExperienceTwo plus years of Graphic Design experienceTwo plus years of Adobe Photoshop experienceTwo plus years of Adobe Illustrator experienceTwo to four years related experience in a similar role preferredProven work experience as a production artist, graphic designer, or similarStrong inherent knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, margins, and proportion with the ability to apply all to your workA portfolio of completed graphics and designsIn-depth knowledge of printing processes and software applications, including FlightCheck, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS OfficeStrong analytical, time management, and multitasking skillsExperience with digital content, such as social media, online advertising, and email campaignsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with wide format printers is preferredRespond to critiques and changes with a positive attitude, then make revisions accurately and efficientlyComputer SkillsComputer literate in a Microsoft Windows environmentAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Basic level of experience using Microsoft WordBasic level of experience using Microsoft OutlookBasic level of experience using Internet Explorer or other web browsersGeneral knowledge of how to use standard office equipmentOther RequirementsPhotography skills preferred but not requiredPrimary language used to perform this job is EnglishProficiency in any foreign language such as Spanish and French is a plus
