Senior Communications Specialist,

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our brands and contribute to our legacy of excellence in the tire industry.Primary Responsibilities:Provide communications expertise in support of the Consumer and Aviation businesses including Customer Marketing, Sales Leadership, and OE teams.Develop/Execute internal and external communications plans that engage the Aviation and Consumer teams, Goodyear's external stakeholders, and internal associates in Goodyear's customer-facing activities.Assist with content for Goodyear's customer communications including events, virtual presentations, and direct messages that communicate key messages to customers and the Sales team.Contribute/Support Goodyear's editorial calendar for trade and other media to promote Goodyear products and services.Support/Maintain the measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs), including earned media coverage performance and customer communications effectiveness, to ensure continuous improvement communications efforts.Required Education and Experience:Bachelors’ degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or other related field.4 or more years of experience working in a Communications role at a Business/Corporation/Non-Profit/or Relations Firm.Strong project management experience from inception to completion.Experience working with media to cultivate relationships and generate owned, earned and shared exposure.Desired Skills and Abilities:Proactive, resilient, and curious.Knowledge of monitoring/distribution tools.Strong organizational and process orientation skills.Creative vision with an expertise in identifying efficient solutions.Customer-service oriented with appropriate attention to detail.Confidence to work with employees at all levels of the organization.Collaborative attitude with ability to work across disciplines/functions.Appetite to learn, meet new people, and try new things.Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
