Overview
Volunteer required for audio requirements set-up for a weekly variety concert. If you work with this type of equipment and enjoy being part of a fun group, come and enjoy a morning of entertainment.
The Role
We have at present a 12 piece show band and several singers. Duties include:
- Set up the audio equipment which consists of a digital mixer, various speakers, microphones, and play backing tracks.
- Ensure the sound system is working for practices and concerts.
- Monitor the sound system during performances.
- Participate in general setup and packing away of equipment with help from club members.
This is a great role for someone with the required skills to join a friendly group who enjoy entertaining senior citizens.
Need to Know
Practices are held on Tuesdays from 11 am to 3 pm, and concerts are on Fridays from 8 am to midday, with some earlier starts.
