About the role:
The Visual Merchandising Coordinator supports the Christy Sports Visual Merchandising strategy of achieving business goals, creating memorable customer experiences, and elevating the brand identity within all stores. This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Visual Merchandising to ensure consistent and appealing product presentations across all stores. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail aesthetics, strong technical skills in design software, and a knack for enhancing customer experiences through innovative visual displays.
Essential Functions:
Training & Development
- Collaborate with the Director of Visual Merchandising on the content and implementation of directives, playbooks, and additional VM reference materials.
- Support and monitor adherence to visual merchandising playbooks to ensure consistency and enhance the customer experience.
Product Presentation
- Utilize digital applications to create planograms, floorplans, and other display renderings.
- Collect and maintain accurate records of merchandise capacities for all stores, including fixture & wall specifications, merchandisable square footage, and on-floor presentation levels.
- Coordinate signage and graphic orders with print vendors and in-house creative team.
- Assist with VM communication updates through various channels including company intranet, Outlook, Teams, and in-store.
- Source visual elements, props, display enhancements, sign holders, and other VM items as needed.
- Support the Director of VM with logistical tasks related to the implementation of major VM initiatives, such as window installations.
- Provide in-store visual merchandising support as required.
Reporting & Communication
- Analyze sales trends of the merchandise, test/learn/scale according to business results.
- Provide feedback on the merchandising assortment mix (color, print, brand mix).
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Visual Merchandising role for a multi-store retail environment.
- Professional experience with technical drawing software such as SketchUp, Microsoft Visio, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Someone who likes to go the extra mile, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on a shared roadmap.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, solve problems and anticipate challenges.
- Ability to be a good human and build positive relationships and work effectively with cross-departmental partners.
- Passion for outdoor activities and willingness to share your enthusiasm with others is a plus.
Other:
- Occasional travel to visit retail store locations - 20%
- Location: Lakewood, Colorado – hybrid, expectation to be in the office 2-3 days/week

Budgeted range starts at: $57,000-$65,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
**Bonus eligible based upon company performance indicators
