Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Graduate Marketing and Recruitment, this role is responsible for all aspects of graduate admissions communications, including but not restricted to:
- Managing the communication team
- Hiring and training communication student workers
- Assisting with application processing
- Creating and maintaining CRM system within Slate
- Overseeing the general inbox for Graduate Admissions
This role will work with office leadership to meet communication goals in accordance with the University’s strategic plan. This position plays a critical role in working closely with vendors (mailing services, document imaging services, Slate, Spark 451 for example) and will help to develop strong communication plans for various admissions audiences.
Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 5+ years experience working in Higher Education
Preferred Experience: Experience working in admissions and experience with Slate or another CRM.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team member to achieve common goals, and to exercise sound judgment.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience in email marketing, managing web content, and analytics and reporting.
