3D Graphics Engineer (m/f/d)
in our international team in Waltham, MA, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of dental technology. You’ll drive the development of new, cutting-edge features for our modern CAD/CAM application while enjoying vast opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration.

Your Responsibilities:
As part of a scrum team, you will be responsible for planning, designing and developing new features and prototypes for the CAD part of our cloud software (includes modeling, algorithms, and interaction).
Write high quality code based on our architecture and technical standards
Provide technical implementations for seamless realization of business needs and features
Support in the refinement of stories and estimate effort and time needed for each subtask
Support the product owner in defining epics, writing user stories and acceptance criteria
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development processes, coding standards and best practices
Contribute your own ideas in our agile development process
Identify opportunities to improve code quality, efficiency, and maintainability
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code functionality and maintainability
Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies relevant to the project
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Your Profile:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines (Computer Graphics background preferred)
Experience in the development of algorithms for the creation and processing of 3D data based on triangulations/meshes and their visualization/rendering
Experience in object-oriented design and object-oriented programming, preferably in C++20/23
Experience in software development under Linux (native or WSL) or MacOS
Basic knowledge of 3D computer graphics and understanding of mathematical calculations in the field of 3D computer graphics
Experience in CI/CD, Containerization (Docker) and Cloud Computing (GCP, Kubernetes) advantageous
Experience with DevOps advantageous (e.g., Artifactory Management, CMake)
Experience in Dart/Flutter and/or Go advantageous
Key Skills, Knowledge & Capabilities:
Ability to solve complex technical problems
Produce high-quality and reliable code
Knowledge of methodologies like agile development (Scrum), DevOps and test-driven and behavior-driven development methods
Technical enthusiast with broad overview constantly eager to engage in new technologies and challenges
Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. German advantageous
Self-organized and self-reliant, but willing to learn and share knowledge
Open-minded, communicative, and strong commitment
