Excellent collaborator and team player with exceptional leadership, communication, organization, relationship, improvisation, and problem-solving skills. Supervise design, ensuring design excellence and that project design and technical detailing meets the overall goals of the project and practice. Supervise technical elements of projects, including code compliance, systems coordination, detailing, permitting, and construction administration, ensuring that performance and design goals are met. Supervise and teach project and practice management, including contracts, budgeting, and costing. Act as direct client contact and lead all aspects of project communication including with clients, consultants, and contractors, and to teach others to do the same. Comprehensive understanding of buildings and how they are constructed, and ability to create design and technical documents that succinctly, thoroughly, and accurately describe them as required. Experience in solving complex design and technical issues, and ability to assist others in doing so. Mentor, supervise, coach, and grow team members as they evolve as architects, assisting them and contributing to the practice’s culture and design methodology. Assist in firm management, including scheduling, staffing, and project workflow. Collaborate with the practice’s senior leadership to further grow and develop the firm. Interest in continuing to evolve the practice, its design language, its design process, its design and technical expertise, and implement these elements in our projects. Requirements

Proven experience within multifamily, mixed-use, affordable, single family, creative office, adaptive reuse, arts, wellness, and/or cultural sectors. Interest in learning and contributing to other disciplines practiced within 64North including landscape design, construction project management, product design, branding, and web design. Background
Professional degree in Architecture and 10-20 years of work experience in the A&E industry. Proficiency in Rhino, VRay, Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign. Salary & Benefits
