As it pertains to Second Melody, the Brand Communications Coordinator will achieve this in the following ways:
Brand CommunicationsAssist the brand communications team in creating and executing comprehensive social/ digital marketing and communications plans utilizing an omni channel approach and a mix of physical and digital mediumsLeverage compelling content specific to social media - Including but not limited to video, reels, etc.Work in conjunction with the team to manage the execution of communications plans and campaigns across all channels via content calendarsCollaborate on both internal and external brainstorming sessions to pitch and/or foster innovative ideas for current/upcoming campaigns/client scopesMonitor and analyze social media performance using analytic tools and leveraging insights to optimize/ideate content strategyDefine and implement analytics to set objectives and report on ROI for campaignsBe aware of current marketing, public relations, social media and creator trends and across the digital landscape (TikTok, reels, digital ad creative, etc)Conduct desk research and interviews for industry and competitive analysisCreate engaging content for social media accounts that is effective in accomplishing the customer's goals and that follows the existing brand systemCommunity management, cultivating and nurturing social audiences, responding to comments and queries in a timely manner and in a way that accurately represents the customer's brandAssist in writing and editing content for all social and digital platformsContinually iterate on concepts in an effort to make work relevant and relatable to all audiencesAbsorb customer feedback and ask the right questions prior to delivering solutionsRespond to customer requests and feedback with informed and appropriate solutionsAttend meetings and represent the agency and the brand communications team in an appropriate mannerBe aware of the customer's short term (project) and long term (company) goals and be constantly working towards those goals via brand strategy deliverablesPresent deliverables to internal teams
Requirements
Work requirements for the position:Proven experience in brand communications, public relations and social mediaPossession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originalityAbility to backup ideas with research and reasoningAbility to interact, communicate and present ideasAbility to defend choices made with research and examplesUp to date with industry leading software and technologiesRealism regarding time, costs and deadlinesAbility to follow directionExperience with social planning, scheduling and analytics tools is a plus (i.e., Airtable and Sprout)
