Full job description The individual for this role is a detail‐oriented and analytical professional with a solid foundation in creative content, brand visibility, social media engagement, and field-level marketing support. The primary focus of this position will be on content creation and execution of our Marketing strategy. Key responsibilities include: Content Collection & Storytelling Visit job sites weekly to capture before/after shots, drone footage, team interactions, and walkthroughs Interview homeowners for video testimonials Create content for project highlights, behind-the-scenes stories, and company wins Social Media Management Plan, create, and post daily content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn (content types: before/after, time-lapse, trendy content, educational, “Meet the Crew,” FAQs) Respond to DMs, engage with comments, tag local businesses/HOAs/homeowners Run organic engagement campaigns (polls, giveaways, referral highlights) Visual Brand Support Use Canva or Adobe Express to create flyers, sales decks, job recap templates, and IG stories Design highlight reels and motion graphics using short-form editing tools (CapCut, InShot, etc.) Ensure consistency of fonts, colors, logos, and overall tone across all assets Trigger post-job review requests via JobNimbus or NiceJob Follow up manually with happy customers to leave Google or BBB reviews Track monthly reputation metrics and share customer highlights internally Email Campaign Support Build simple newsletters or updates using Mailchimp or similar Send out monthly content featuring completed jobs, seasonal reminders (roof checkup), and company updates Maintain homeowner email list and segment by service area or project type Local Presence & Partnerships Capture Ruff Roofing’s involvement at community events, charity work, school sponsorships, etc. Maintain local partnerships with realtors, HOAs, or local small businesses for cross-promotions Keep the marketing team aware of upcoming events or content-worthy opportunities Syncs daily with the Marketing Manager to align content with campaign goals (e.g. video footage that supports current storm ads, etc.) Shared tools: Google Drive (asset storage), Trello/Asana (task flow), JobNimbus (lead and workflow tracking) Monthly performance reviews with Sales, the Head of Operations and Company Management (campaign ROI, lead volume, content metrics, brand reach, etc.) Strategic Collaboration Work closely with sales and leadership to align lead flow with closing targets Hold weekly check-ins with the Content & Media Coordinator to coordinate priorities Develop marketing plans to support expansion into new neighborhoods or markets. Desired Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing required Minimum three or more years’ experience in Marketing, Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading various content formats, including text, images, and videos. Understanding and managing social media platforms, including content scheduling, engagement, and analytics. Familiarity with software likeAdobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) or equivalent tools for visual content creation and editing. Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or similar, for website content management and updates. Understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for search engines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external audiences. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. The ability to generate new ideas, create engaging content, and stay up-to-date with current trends. Willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and techniques as the media landscape evolves. Ability to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders. Ability to track and analyze content performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues. Ability to find solutions to problems and make the most of available resources. Staying up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and technologies. Ensuring accuracy and consistency in marketing materials and campaigns. Ability to be flexible with hours as workload changes Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday Work Location: In person in office, Houston TX, 77079 The expected compensation for this position is: $45,000.00 USD - $55,000 USD Annual Bonus 15 days of PTO 6 Public Holidays 1 Floating Holiday ** Pay is based on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, and experience.
