We are looking for a full-time Social Media Strategist. The Social Media Strategist is responsible for the day-to-day operational success of paid social campaign activations, specifically dedicated to planning and activating paid social advertising strategies for our automotive client across the US. This role collaborates with planning, operations, and analytics to deliver innovative, integrated social media campaigns. The employee will work out of the Chicago, IL or El Segundo, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary day-to-day client contact, supporting all client business needs and meeting objectives and benchmarks month over month.
- Work with planning and operations teams to ensure all campaigns are seamlessly executed.
- Develop strategic paid social media recommendations that outline platform recommendations, implementation details, success measurement, and timelines.
- Place social media advertising campaigns across Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat based on the approved campaign strategy.
- Utilize advanced targeting strategies to execute complex campaigns.
- Optimize campaign buys to ensure budgets are spent effectively each month.
- Develop in-depth campaign reports in partnership with the analytics team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 3 years in paid social advertising.
- Proficiency with Meta, Reddit, X, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
- Proficiency with Business Manager and Ads Manager dashboards.
- Experience handling large media budgets and developing insights based on campaign results.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with campaign tracking and efficiency tools.
- Facebook Blueprint Media Buying Certification is strongly preferred.
- Passion for social media and staying updated on the latest trends.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, and assertive.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with retail and/or automotive is strongly preferred.
