Position Overview
The Sales and Marketing Specialist will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, generating new business, and supporting company expansion efforts. This position is a dynamic blend of marketing and sales responsibilities, including social media management, event planning, content creation, and direct client engagement. Additionally, the role will involve assisting in M&A initiatives, helping to identify and integrate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Create engaging content for marketing campaigns, website updates, and email newsletters
- Plan and coordinate company events, sponsorships, and community outreach programs
- Develop and distribute marketing materials to support sales and brand awareness
- Monitor marketing analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly
Sales Responsibilities:
- Conduct drop-ins at prospective client locations, introducing our services and distributing marketing materials
- Build and maintain relationships with local commercial accounts, including property managers, facility managers, and business owners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base
- Support M&A initiatives by researching potential acquisition targets and assisting with integration efforts
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop lead generation strategies and close new business
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or a related role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship-building
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating marketing content
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with in-person sales outreach and developing client relationships
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry or experience in home services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
