NESN is launching a region-wide talent search to discover a fresh, authentic voice in Boston sports culture.

This is your shot at a full-time on-air talent role with NESN. Qualified candidates will be relatable, media savvy and have their finger on the pulse of New England sports and the surrounding community.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Host and co-create episodes of NESN video podcasts, including “Boston Has Entered the Chat.”
• Develop original show segments that resonate with New England sports fans.
• Appear regularly across NESN programming, including studio shows and live digital events (e.g., Batting Practice LIVE, Unobstructed Views, Morning Skate and more).
• Collaborate with NESN producers, social teams, and talent for cross-platform storytelling.
• Represent the network in public appearances, digital events, and community activations.

Qualifications:

We want bold, authentic, relatable voices who:

• Know New England sports inside and out (and aren't afraid to prove it).
• Have something to say — and know how to say it on camera (prior on-air experience a plus, but not required).
• Bring humor, energy, and fresh perspective to the Boston sports conversation.
• Funny, sharp, and relatable — you connect with audiences and have an existing social following.
• Creative and quick-thinking with strong storytelling instincts.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and performing under pressure in both live and recorded formats.
• Ready to engage fans, spark conversation, and deliver hot takes with confidence.

Additional Job Information:

• Full-time talent position
• 12-month term, with potential for extension
• Mentorship from existing NESN on-air talent and producers
• Access to cover exclusive Red Sox and Bruins events
• Appearances across NESN studio and digital programming

Step 2: Join the Competition

Finalists will compete in on-air challenges including live debates, in-field fan interviews, and podcast segment creation.

Step 3: Finale + Full-Time Role
The final two will host a live show with NESN vodcast talent. One winner will be offered a full-time job as NESN’s next vodcast host.
