Since 2021, our focus has been on Streaming Audio and Podcasts, aiming to build a world-class audio advertising program and generate over $1B in revenue by 2030. We are establishing a core engineering team in New York to develop innovative solutions for audio advertising. We seek passionate, team-oriented, and self-driven software engineers to create engaging user experiences for advertisers, publishers, and listeners. This is a unique opportunity to contribute early and shape significant parts of our technical roadmap. Key job responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of software in complex problem spaces. Focus on architecture, ensuring software integration and consistency across teams. Identify and address architecture deficiencies and bottlenecks to improve quality and innovation speed. Communicate ideas effectively to achieve team and customer goals. Harmonize differing views and lead resolution of contentious issues. Lead design reviews and participate in related software reviews. Set an example through code quality, design, and best practices. Provide insightful code reviews and own outcomes. Participate in hiring processes and mentor team members. A day in the life Typical activities include daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, mentoring, and team events. The role emphasizes proactive action, high standards, delivering results, and having fun. About The Team We are transforming the audio industry with digital solutions for programmatic and deal-based advertising across various streaming platforms and podcasts, ensuring relevant ads while respecting listener privacy. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in system design or architecture. Proficiency in at least one programming language. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
