About the role We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to drive cross-functional initiatives vital to scaling Anthropic's marketing events operation and driving growth. This collaborative leader will partner across the organization to plan and execute new programs and projects. The role sits within a combined Programs organization responsible for driving key work across Anthropic, with a focus on marketing events execution—from flagship conferences to strategic industry presence. We are seeking someone who loves driving clarity from ambiguity, rallying colleagues around clear goals, and striving to make every project better than the last.

Your primary focus will be on execution excellence—from maintaining clear timelines and dependencies across teams to establishing efficient processes that help us move faster and more effectively across regions. Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional coordination efforts for key marketing events from start to finish, including building scalable processes Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to define, scope, and sequence major program elements (e.g., product demos, presentation development) Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resourcing strategies for events Establish scalable program management frameworks, playbooks, and best practices Lead cross-functional coordination and planning for complex event programs Provide clear and transparent reporting on program status, issues, and risks Provide on-the-ground support at various events, with moderate travel required You may be a good fit if you:
Have 5+ years of experience leading end-to-end event program management Have expertise in change management and process development for global events Have a track record managing business-critical, cross-functional initiatives in high-growth environments Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence without authority Have a high threshold for navigating ambiguity while maintaining attention to detail Thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt processes to meet evolving needs Are passionate about Anthropic's mission and committed to ensuring AI is developed safely
