Mucho is a category leader in “meal replacements” and one of the fastest growing brands in CPG. It was officially launched 3 months ago and is already at a $1M revenue run rate, with massive growth potential.
Our product is a meal replacement bar, a high-protein bar that is nutritionally complete. It has one of the highest protein counts in the market and is the only good-for-you bar that can double as a whole meal.
We sell predominantly in ecommerce and aim to be best-in-class in DTC channels.
I am seeking a hungry and driven Founding Growth Marketer to join me. This is a unique opportunity to join a new brand as the first employee and create the building blocks for the entire organization.
You must have strong entrepreneurial spirit and ready to take extreme ownership. I am a solo founder, and you will essentially be my partner. Your compensation will be strongly tied to the business (royalties, equity, commission, bonuses, etc.) Due to the high growth potential in the early stage, that also means that your earning potential is much higher than other opportunities if you contribute your share.
Consequently, you must be ready to go all-in. Working on weekends and long days are to be expected. You should also be prepared to relocate to NYC.
At this early stage, I am looking more for ambition, drive, grit, and growth, rather than experience. You’ll be trained extensively about everything it takes to grow a brand, from A to Z. Since the brand is so early, you should be ready to cover domains outside of just growth marketing if need be.
However, 80%+ of the role will still be focused on growth marketing, including creative production, creative strategy, copywriting, paid ads, and influencer/creator.
I’m looking specifically for people who have the following backgrounds:
- Content Creation (Bonus if you’re a big affiliate or in health/wellness)
- Dropshipping/Ecom Brand Owners
Responsibilities:
- Writing paid ad creative briefs
- Sourcing UGC/Creator Talent
- Sourcing Affiliates/Influencers
- Analyzing paid ad performance
- Creating creative strategy plans to optimally conduct creative tests
- Project management of creative production to hit creative volume targets
- Paid ads funnel building, including offer, landing page, ad creative, and upsells
- Building out email/sms flows & campaigns
- Optimizing owned media (email, sms, communities) and subscription for retention & LTV
- Managing creators, editors, & other contractors during creative production
- Creating viral TOF earned media moments
- Creating and scripting founder-led content
- Copywriting (LOTS OF COPYWRITING)
The majority of your efforts are going to be in generating creatives for paid media platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok). Your success will directly be tied to the performance of these creatives and the volume of tests you conduct.
Qualifications:
- Addicted to Short-Form Video Platforms & Internet Media — you should be able to tell me what “brainrot” and “looksmaxxing” means.
- Familiar with social media creative production processes (retention editing, hooks, voiceovers/sound design, thumb-stopping visuals, storytelling)
- Strong understanding of Shopify/ecommerce ecosystem
- Strong understanding of paid ad channels
- Passion about health/wellness
OTE: $96k Salary + Equity
This role is structured as a 6 month contract. Your compensation will be a monthly retainer + 2% commission on all sales. Your target is to contribute to the growth of the brand so we hit a $3MM run rate.
After the 6 months, you’ll be issued increased salary + equity based on performance.
