Our client, a global Entertainment Company is seeking a Social Media Creative Strategist / Manager to develop and lead the execution of organic and paid social creative strategies across a variety of high-profile marketing campaigns. This strategic and collaborative role will serve as the bridge between internal creative teams, marketing stakeholders, and external agencies—ensuring campaigns are innovative, cohesive, and aligned across platforms. The ideal candidate is a blend of creative thinker and data-driven strategist—someone who understands what makes social content compelling and knows how to optimize performance using analytics. The Social Media Creative Strategist / Manager should have a strong background in social optimization and experience working with partners and should have at least three years of experience in a manager or senior role in paid social or social marketing. This is a fully remote, freelance position, 40 hours weekly, can sit anywhere in the U.S. and work in your own time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead creative strategies for both paid and organic social media marketing campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and Snapchat
- Align with the Brand Marketing team on overall paid media strategy and campaign objectives
- Collaborate with internal creatives and external agencies to produce best-in-class assets for both evergreen and dark post campaigns
- Deliver clear, actionable creative feedback to designers and content creators
- Coordinate with Organic Social Media Managers to identify top-performing posts for paid boosting
- Stay informed on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and creative best practices to ensure campaign innovation
- Consolidate stakeholder feedback and communicate across departments to maintain alignment
- Partner with analytics teams to review performance data, interpret insights, and refine future strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across PR, Content, Marketing, and Product to ensure cohesive messaging and execution
Requirements:
- 3+ years of manager experience leading creative teams and managing agency relationships
- 3+ years of manager experience developing and leading creative strategies for both paid and organic social media marketing campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.
- Strong understanding of social content optimization, targeting, and engagement strategies
- Excellent project management, communication, and feedback skills
- Background in the entertainment or media industry. Background or strong interest in sports and sports marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
