Summary

Seeking a creative professional who will film, edit, and produce video content for various internal media channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic eye for the way color and visual effects enhance storytelling in addition to substantial experience filming, producing, editing, and distributing internal corporate videos.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

1. Creates professional corporate video content
2. Shoot quality portrait photography and live corporate events
3. Filming/recording video on set and on location with the ability to plan logistics
4. Working with team members to research and plan video shoots
5. Proven experience in storytelling and responsible for writing scripts
6. Interviewing associates for video ideas and content creation
7. Directs on-screen talent
8. Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment
9. Edit a compelling, visually appealing finished project
10. Creating b-roll, animations, and special visual effects as needed
11. Coordinates simultaneous ongoing projects and deadlines and works well with others under tight time constraints
12. Supervise all work completed by the video team
13. Ensuring all recording and studio equipment is in good working order and keeping track of new purchases
14. Keep up to speed on current video-creation trends and practices
15. Willing to travel and work outside of standard business hours as project needs dictate
16. Work with a variety of video sources, ranging from on-location professional footage (filmed by you) to online filming (Open Reel) to self-filmed smartphone footage to create professional results
17. Collaborating with internal teams to understand project requirements and objectives and translate them into impactful visual narratives
18. Planning, filming, editing, posting, and archiving high-quality video content in support of First Horizon's brand (filming will often include conducting interviews)
19. Understand the business strategy and key First Horizon objectives that drive all video content and projects
20. Keep abreast of trends and advancements in video production

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Seven to ten years’ experience as a videographer or similar role. Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, film, or related field. College credits or comparable certifications in video editing, screenwriting, film, and/or cinematography preferred. Post-secondary degree in film, media production, or related field. Financial Services experience a plus.
2. Creative, professional, self-motivated, and confident working independently
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Proven experience in collaborating with executive leadership and line of business partners in a corporate environment
5. Organizational, project management, and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent creative vision and attention to detail, with the ability to transform ideas into visually compelling content
7. Knowledge of post-production techniques
8. Experience working in a professional studio environment
9. Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for a long period of time
10. Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing, and scripting
11. Drone experience
12. Proven experience in videography and video editing, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in storytelling, cinematography, and post-production
13. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
14. Exceptional prioritization skills while effectively balancing multiple priorities
15. Ability to create content that positively impacts the Company’s brand and business objectives
