Job Description:
Qualifications:
- A clear testimony of salvation through Jesus Christ.
- Doctrine aligning with SPBC and The Baptist Faith & Message.
- Worships and honors God.
- Knows God, and falls down before Him spiritually.
- Loves Jesus.
- Welcomes the presence of the Holy Spirit.
- Has a heart to lead people in worship, not just lead a worship service.
- Humble.
Abilities:
- Skilled vocal ability.
- Ability to play an instrument.
- Ability to direct a choir.
- Experience with technology and ability to learn presentation software.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the congregation in worship during the Sunday Morning Worship Service.
- Select theologically and doctrinally appropriate songs for a blended worship service.
- Develop a weekly Order of Service for the bulletin (Submit by Wednesday prior).
- Enter the Order of Service presentation on Proclaim (Presentation software).
- Direct weekly rehearsals with the Choir and Praise Team.
- Develop a yearly budget within financial guidelines.
- Maintain open communication with the Sound Board crew.
- Work under the guidance and direction of the Pastor.
Compensation:
Part-time position of 10-15 hours per week. Pay will be a salaried position of $7,500 per year, divided into bi-monthly payments.
