The Sales Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales, marketing, and operations teams. As a Sales Assistant, youll contribute to the companys growth by ensuring smooth operations, enhancing promotional efforts, and maintaining the flow of information and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales/Marketing:
Social Media Management:
Create and manage daily social media posts across platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
Monitor engagement and respond to inquiries promptly.
Web Page Updates:
Regularly update the companys website with relevant content.
Ensure accurate product information and engaging visuals.
Presentation Creation:
Develop compelling presentations and capability statements using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint.
Highlight the companys strengths and offerings.
Cold Emails and Calls:
Reach out to potential customers via email and phone.
Communicate effectively to generate leads and promote our products/services.
Competitor Analysis:
Review competitors websites to identify advantages and disadvantages.
Collaborate with the sales team to refine our value proposition.
Administrative Tasks:
CRM Management:
Update and maintain the companys CRM system with accurate customer and sales data.
Ensure accessibility for the sales team.
Federal Government Portals:
Keep access credentials up-to-date for federal government portals.
Facilitate seamless communication and transactions.
Customer Portals:
Review and update information in customer portals.
Set up the company as a new vendor where necessary.
Follow-Up:
Schedule and conduct follow-up visits, calls, and meetings with clients.
Address any issues promptly.
Sales Reports and Information:
Assist the sales team by providing relevant reports and information.
Desirable Skills:
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English (required).
Spanish or a second language (desirable).
Automation Knowledge:
Familiarity with automation technologies (PLC, robotics, conveyors, vision systems).
Programming Skills:
Proficiency in languages such as VB, C++, HTML, or Java.
