Overview
Boston University is seeking a creative individual to assist with the development and implementation of proactive communications to support Campus Planning & Operations (CPO) and Safety, Security & Preparedness (SSP) initiatives. The communications specialist will support the CPO Communications team in writing and editing articles, developing social media content for several accounts, distributing campus-wide newsletters and notifications, maintaining websites, and developing reports to brief leadership. This position will help keep track of web and social media analytics and provide regular reports on KPIs. This role will play a critical part in streamlining our operational processes and ensuring clear communication across departments. This position will also assist the Director of Communications and Senior Communications Specialist with other projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills
+ Experience with HTML and CSS and using content management systems such as WordPress.
+ Bachelor's degree.
+ 3 to 5 years of experience.
