TICKET WRITER - SPORTSBOOKPart-Time
Job Description:
- Provides great guest service by answering questions and relaying information in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Must be willing and able to utilize sports book computer system to generate tickets for wagers and to verify and cash out any winning tickets.
- Accurately maintains cash bank and is responsible for balancing.
- Must be willing and able to explain wagering rules, including betting lines and odds, and sports book procedures to guests.
- Adheres to company and departmental policy and procedures.
- Is accountable for accurate paperwork.
- Responsible for complying with MS Gaming Regulations and Title 31 policies.
- Maintains knowledge of property amenities.
Qualifications:
- Must have cash handling skills.
- Must be 21 years of age and obtain a MS Gaming badge.
- Must have computer skills.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Previous casino experience.
- Sports enthusiast a plus.
- Must be willing and able to learn new system and all associated Sports Book operational requirements for the position.
- Must be flexible in scheduling.
- Must be dependable.
- Previous experience in race or sports book a plus.
