Together, we are seeking a highly skilled Web Developer to enhance and maintain our digital presence across both brands.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to lead the development, optimization, and security of our WooCommerce and Shopify websites. This role requires proficiency in full-stack web development, UI/UX design, SEO best practices, and ERP system integrations, particularly with NetSuite. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of website performance, e-commerce functionality, and digital marketing enhancements. Additionally, as new sales channels emerge, the Web Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and launching new websites aligned with business growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Management
- Oversee the daily maintenance and performance of WooCommerce (Par West) and Shopify (Noble Heritage) websites.
- Develop, test, and implement new website features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and relevant CMS frameworks.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility compliance (ADA, WCAG).
- Optimize website performance, load times, and server configurations for a seamless user experience.
- Manage API integrations and ensure seamless data flow between NetSuite ERP and e-commerce platforms.
- Design and launch new websites as sales channels expand, ensuring consistency with brand identity and customer experience.
E-Commerce & Content Management
- Upload and manage product listings, SKUs, images, pricing, and inventory levels across WooCommerce and Shopify.
- Optimize product pages with high-quality content, metadata, and image compression to enhance SEO.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to update promotional content, banners, and seasonal product offerings.
Website Security & Compliance
- Implement security measures to safeguard sites from cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access.
- Perform regular security audits, apply patches, and update plugins, themes, and core software.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and e-commerce security standards.
- Manage automated backups and disaster recovery protocols to prevent data loss.
SEO & Digital Marketing Optimization
- Conduct keyword research and optimize website content to improve search engine rankings.
- Implement structured data (Schema markup) for enhanced search visibility.
- Utilize Google Analytics, Search Console, and other tools to track website traffic, conversions, and performance metrics.
- Perform A/B testing on CTAs, landing pages, and conversion funnels to enhance engagement and sales.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on content strategy, paid ad campaigns, and user experience improvements.
Technical Support & Collaboration
- Provide website-related technical support to internal teams and troubleshoot user issues.
- Document development processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for website management.
- Work closely with IT, marketing, and external development teams on large-scale web projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proven expertise in WooCommerce, Shopify, and NetSuite ERP integration, with a deep understanding of NetSuite’s role in daily business operations.
- Familiarity with SEO tools, digital marketing strategies, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with cybersecurity protocols, SSL certificates, and website data protection best practices..
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail and performance optimization.
