We are a fast-paced printing company specializing in delivering high-quality printed materials to a diverse clientele. We are seeking an experienced
Graphic Designer/Prepress Specialist
to join our team and play a key role in creating and preparing files for print production.
Responsibilities:
Design and layout a variety of printed materials including brochures, business cards, flyers, banners, packaging, and more.
Prepare and preflight files for offset, digital, and large format printing processes.
Ensure all artwork is print-ready by correcting color issues, setting proper bleeds, and checking resolution, fonts, and layers.
Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any file issues during the prepress process.
Operate prepress software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and RIP software.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of print specifications and customer requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Maintain an organized archive of design files for future use.
Communicate with customers until job completion.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the graphic design and prepress field, preferably within the printing industry.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and knowledge of prepress workflow and printing standards.
Strong understanding of color management, print resolution, and file formats (PDF, EPS, etc.).
Knowledge of digital, offset, and large format printing processes.
Ability to troubleshoot file issues related to trapping, imposition, and spot colors.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Customer service oriented.
Preferred Skills
:
Experience with RIP software and imposition software (Fiery).
Knowledge of variable data printing.
Familiarity with prepress equipment.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously.
