Description
Job Summary
The Sr. Content Marketing Specialist – Lead Generation executes the company’s sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue through content creation and managing leads. Responsibilities include creating content that promotes our primary and secondary end-markets and company culture. This position also manages contacts and leads for optimization in HubSpot, as well as supports trade shows and client events. This position works closely with Business Development, Operations, and other Matrix departments and employees.
Essential Functions
- Actively supports the Company’s commitment to its Core Values.
- Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Develops content about our Company, services, and end-markets to drive revenue and lead generation for distribution across websites, social media, and advertising campaigns.
- Maintains lead scoring and lead optimization in HubSpot.
- Attends trade shows, conferences, and client events relevant to specific end-markets.
- Maintains print and digital assets relevant to specific end-markets.
- Maintains Search Engine Optimization for web content.
- Organizes the Company’s digital assets in our data asset management tool.
- Provides reporting and analysis of website performance.
- Performs routine technical maintenance on the website.
- Ensures branding quality and consistency of external marketing initiatives.
- Maintains a solid understanding of the Matrix business, services, and markets we serve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related area; or equivalent experience required.
- 4+ years of marketing, advertising, journalism, or communications experience required.
- Marketing experience in the oil and gas, industrial, or utilities industry preferred.
- Excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy a must.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Up to 20% travel.
