Promoting and sustaining diversity is a commitment to educational quality and the creation of positive, respectful learning communities.Job Description Summary Promotions Coordinators are responsible for initiating meaningful interactions with La Verne students, faculty, and staff, connecting them with the resources and services offered by the Academic Success Center.Specific Duties Generate lively and relevant content on social media.•Create original ASC social media content.•Interact with faculty and staff via tabling, social media, events, emails, etc.•Record (photos, videos, and audio) and share ASC events and service offerings with the campus community.Design and disseminate print and digital promotional material using Canva, TikTok, Instagram and other relevant platforms.Plan and execute promotional events for the ASC.•Generate ideas for fun and interactive promotions•Interact with the students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders.Attend and actively participate in all mandatory trainings and meetings, including fall and spring orientation; weekly small group meetings and other relevant trainings required for specific subjects or focus areas.Design, coordinate and implement ASC themed displays, (library display case, ASC tri-board, etc...)Collaborate with ASC staff to gain familiarity with the needs of ASC.Other duties as assigned by the Director, Associate Director and ASC professional staff. Minimum Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.Project management skills and accountability.Technology savvy and interested in learning new tools, apps, and programs.Must be a current ULV student Preferred Qualifications Promotions, marketing, or customer service experienceFamiliar with the function of and services offered by the Libraries & Learning Commons and the Academic Success Center.
