Primary Purpose:The Creative Team is responsible for the creation and production of branded marketing collateral such as, but not limited to; catalogs, sell sheets, power points, product photos, product labels, product cartons, infographic design, A+ page design, web page graphics, web banners, social media graphics, paid advertising design and post editing of product photography.The Sr. Graphic Design Specialist is personally responsible and accountable for helping oversee vital creative product functions within the Creative team. This person collaboratively works with FNA Group's Product team and Global Marketing Services (GMS) team to provide high quality graphics and design work for all product needs. This candidate must possess strong creative skills, project leadership, and a passion to ensure that all product supportive materials are accurately designed with excellence.
Essential Duties:Responsible for the creation and/or revision of:
All product carton artwork, including coordination of product photoshoots, product specs, and other pertinent information relating to the completion of carton graphics.All product label artwork, including coordination of product specs, logos, fonts, and artwork delivery to supply chain.All product manuals, including coordination of use and care information, safety information, warranty information, and product set up and quick start details, and all illustrated parts including within the manual.
Plays an active leading role in the artwork review process for all printed and/or digital marketing content that is produced and sees creative projects through to approval and production.Responsible for the product launch process documentation working in conjunction with FNA Group Product, Engineering and R&D teams, including help with launch details, task due dates, and communication to all team members.Plays an active leading role in overseeing Graphic Design specialists and coordinators to create and manage to completion all corporate collateral including catalogs, power point presentations, product marketing collateral, product web assets, photography, infographics, web page graphics, web banners, social media graphics, paid advertising design and special campaign creative design.Assists with product photography of machines, parts, accessories and prototypes when necessary.Critiques and refines marketing content for brand accuracy and dynamic design.Works cross-functionally within the GMS team units as well as Sales, Product and Engineering teams to execute the day-to-day delivery of the above-mentioned marketing collateral.Works cross-functionally with external partners, retailers and vendors, to deliver accurate creative assets and artwork for all products.Submit regular reports on artwork creation, production deadlines and project statuses to Director of Marketing as well as executive leadership when necessary.
Qualifications:At least 5 years general experience in a Creative, Advertising or Graphic Design/Visual Communications role.At least 2 years proven experience in a Senior Creative or Lead Graphic Design/Visual Communications role.Must have strong portfolio examples.Advanced skills required in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as other adobe products.Advanced experience with creative setup and layout including ad building and design, web design layout, photography post-editing and manipulation and social media graphic design.Advanced experience with digital creative requirements such as pixel dimensions and compatible file formats.Advanced experience with the creative development process and program execution.Advanced experience with file nomenclature and advanced folder structures.
Education/Certification:Bachelor's degree in creative field; graphic design, visual communications or marketing emphasis preferred.
