Job Title: - Sr. Product Designer Assignment Type: 6 month contract with potential to extend or convert Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite 4x per week)
What you'll bring
• SAP and/or ERP Experience o Experienced in SAP/Fiori or other ERP/SaaS products (e.g. Salesforce etc) o Experience in designing out-of-the-box Enterprise Level ERP Systems for large- scale implementation • Product Design o Designer with a Product-thinking mindset who thinks through downstream operational implications when designing products and features. o Thinks about scalability of solutions. o Able to identify dependencies across suite of products and across features • User Experience Research Skills o Understands the desires and needs of users/stakeholders and able to keep an open mind about what they want o Advanced knowledge of UXR and User-testing methodologies o Analyze user needs and gather requirements across multiple product experiences to understand the dependencies for a common experience solution
About You • Design Thinking o Expert in basic design research methods to gain deep user-empathy o Able to differentiate between what user wants to what user really needs o Knows how to synthesize and extract essence of meanings out of research o Knows how to visualize experience concepts through the creation of wireframes, mockups, user & process flows, and prototypes
• Experience over education o 7+ years of experience in UX and product design o Experience working with cross-functional teams – partnering with product and development to oversee the user experience from conception to launch to learn o Education in Interaction Design, Computer Science or similar • Portfolio o A strong portfolio showcasing foundational understanding of UX and UI design, thought process and how you've contributed to solving specific problems with functional designs • Keen ability to grasp complexity quickly and to focus on key issues • Clear communication skills and ability to present your work to internal stakeholders at different design stages and support your decisions • Experience with prototyping to explore and convey design solutions • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Figma, Miro, etc...) • Self-guided and motivated to learn new tools and techniques
