Job Summary of the Content Marketing Specialist
The Content Marketing Specialist reports to the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager and will help our Marketing team bring their campaign strategies to life with clear, innovative, and engaging content. This position will work with the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager to develop scientifically accurate and compelling content that is creatively told, uniquely delivered and moves people to act. stories and SEO-optimized content experiences across digital and traditional channels that drive brand awareness, conversion, and lead generation through content that is creatively told, uniquely delivered, and moves people to act.
Requirements of the Content Marketing Specialist
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or related field Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a copywriter or editorial writer. Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare space strongly preferred. Compelling communication skills, persuasive storyteller, and a big-picture thinker Ability to translate complex medical and health economics information for non-technical audiences. Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines with a quick turnaround time. A curious mind that is comfortable diving deep into new topics and adopting a thorough approach to content creation that adheres to healthcare content regulations. Experience managing and executing projects that involve multiple elements and stakeholders. Strong computer skills/experience, including MS Office products,online collaboration tools, workflow and digital asset management tools. Adept at communicating via PowerPoint-both in content design and presentation. Agency experience is preferred, with examples of successful campaigns and various writing samples available for review Experience and/or familiarity with design, prototyping and creative tools and systems (Adobe CC - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video production. Basic understanding of content management systems, marketing automation and Google Analytics is a plus. Minimal but occasional travel may be required to respond to the needs of customers and the organization. Responsibilities of the Content Marketing Specialist
The specific duties of the Content Marketing Specialist include but are not limited to:
Develop high-quality, scientifically accurate written content across multiple market development, channels and audiences, including blogs, social media, product brochures, emails, video scripts, and websites targeting healthcare practitioner, patients and the general public. Communicate technical and clinically focused information in creative, engaging, and interesting messages through narratives that drive customer adoption and revenue objectives. Transform Voice of Customer, product features and benefits into customer-centric content by understanding the needs of the target audience. Work with the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager and Digital Marketing Manager to develop SEO strategy, regularly analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly across digital channels. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and pharmaceutical industry regulations and follows medical, legal, and regulatory approval processes. Collaborate with product managers and designers to wordsmith product collateral. Work with internal and external creative teams to execute content creation. Manage content production schedules and deadlines. Identify opportunities to grow and enhance Axogen's content capabilities. Work with the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager to develop repeatable content development process workflows that keep the team nimble in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly. Work with the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager to ensure consistent content delivery and optimal scheduling. Conduct content audits to assess the quality and effectiveness of existing content and recommend improvements. Work with the Marketing Content Review Specialist to move content through medical, legal and regulatory review and approval processes.

Salary Range
$61,194-$76,491 USD
Axogen follows healthcare system guidelines with respect to credentialing, vaccinations and other employment/compliance related requirements, as well as CDC guidance. Axogen reserves the right to amend its policies from time to time in its sole discretion.
