The role of Communications is to develop and define the messaging and communications strategy that increases awareness and affinity for the Red Bull brand and its events, athletes, and media projects. The department oversees all external communication and works with external media partners / agencies and cross-functional Brand, Athlete and Sports Marketing teams to share and amplify the key messages of our brand. Reporting to the Senior Director, Sports Communications, the Sr. Comms Manager, Motorsports owns the development and distribution of strategic national PR campaigns and content in the areas of Motorsports and Aviation. The underlying objective of this role is to maximize credible and authentic third-party coverage that influences and engages priority audiences to build brand awareness and brand love with new and existing consumers.
EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role: 7+ years' experience in leading communications for high-profile brands and/or Motorsports/Aviation focused agency account management. Understanding - both consumer and trends - of the diverse U.S. media and creator landscape Track record of delivering results against tight deadlines. Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and presentations. Strong planning, prioritization and project management competencies. Creative thinker and innovator; in touch with digital, Sports, trends, etc. Able to travel as needed; work flexible hours/days of week and weekends. Travel 20-30% Permanent Benefits eligible
