Location: New York, NY (Hybrid - minimum two in-office days per week)
Salary Range: $58,000 - $72,000

About the Role
The team is seeking a News Translator to support the production of English-language news content. This position plays a vital role in translating and refining articles for publication across English-language platforms and partner distribution services.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate news articles, headlines, and captions from Japanese to English
- Edit and proofread translations for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with editorial standards
- Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure content reliability
- Support additional editorial work as needed
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Prior experience in a translation setting
- Strong research and verification skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for hybrid work
