Job Description
Visa Corporate Technology Support has embarked on a significant transformation, rethinking how we provide operational support for the services we deliver to our end users. As part of this strategy, we are aligning operational functions into a single area focused on providing world-class support. The Sr. Manager, Events and Video Production Operations leads the Events and Video Production Support team, ensuring seamless end-to-end event operations, including live streaming, video production, and on-site support. This role oversees coordination with Executive IT and external vendors to deliver high-quality, impactful events. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, managing the team, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
This role places the successful candidate at the forefront of end-user interactions. This position requires technical versatility, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Exceptional Customer Service: Actively engage with end users ensuring their issues and requests are addressed with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify issues before they escalate, using strong analytical and diagnostic skills to minimize downtime and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Technology Optimization: Continuously refine and improve support processes, adopt best practices, and seek opportunities to enhance the end-user computing environment.
Essential Functions
- Team Management:
- Manage and mentor the Events and Video Production team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement strategies for scalable, high-quality event support.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex event or production challenges.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Executive IT on high-profile executive events to ensure technical readiness and seamless execution.
- Coordinate with external vendors to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Operational Oversight:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and post-event analysis of all events and video productions.
- Monitor team metrics, identify areas for improvement, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all events meet the organization's standards for quality and impact.
- Budget and Vendor Management:
- Oversee budget management, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements.
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in event operations and video production.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and skills to deliver high-quality events.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Media Production, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in event operations and video production, with at least 3 years in a managerial or lead role.
- Proven track record of managing high-profile events and leading a successful team.
- Experience working with executive teams and managing vendor relationships.
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of event operations and video production technologies.
- Proficiency in live streaming, video editing, and production tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as:
- Video Codec Standards: H.264, H.265
- Audio Standards: AAC, Dolby Digital
- Streaming Protocols: RTMP, HLS, DASH
- Resolution Standards: HD, Full HD, 4K
- Production Tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer
- Live Streaming Platforms: YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitch, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
- AV Equipment: Cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Cinema), Microphones, Mixers, Lighting Equipment
- Leadership and Communication:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability:
- Ability to manage high-pressure, time-sensitive events with a calm and strategic approach.
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex event or production challenges.
- Organizational and Customer Service Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong track record of providing exceptional customer service and technical support to a diverse user base, including senior-level stakeholders.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $169,100 to $245,400 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
