Senior Product Design Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Design Manager to join, support, and manage a growing group of high-performing product designers at Alma.
What you’ll do:
Grow, develop, and cultivate a motivated, empowered, and psychologically safe team of talented product designers who have high expectations around individual ownership and impactPartner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure your team is delivering value and impact on key strategic initiativesCollaborate with peers in Product and Engineering to drive decision-making, and define a high-level vision and strategic direction for the teamAchieve stakeholder buy-in to the work your team is doing, through evangelism and advocacyCreate structures, systems, and processes that enable your team to be successfulEngage in the end-to-end recruiting process, hiring, and onboarding product designers to help grow the team
Who you are:
You have 5+ years of experience in product or user experience design, with 1+ years of experience in people managementYou have experience setting a clear, inspiring vision for complex areas, and advocating for solutions that drive success for the business in addition to your usersYou are a curious, ambitious, empathetic, and strategic leader. You’re a total pro in UX methodologiesYou are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and making decisions without all of the answers in front of youYou believe that a well-designed product means that it’s accessible and usable for all and that you are not your user. You guide your team’s work to reflect that philosophyYou have a proven track record of building strong cross-functional relationships and buy-in into your workYou’re passionate about Alma's mission: to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health care

Salary Band: $165,000 - $190,000
