This role involves defining the future of audio, building innovative experiences used by millions of Amazon Music customers. You will use AI/ML technologies to help customers discover and engage with audio in new ways through voice assistants like Alexa. Your work will help define and develop new Amazon Music experiences that make it easier for customers to discover and love music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
As a Product Manager at Amazon Music, you will be the CEO of your features, collaborating closely with Applied Science, Engineering, Design, and other teams to set strategy, define, design, and manage the customer experience. You should be customer-obsessed, analytical, experienced in delivering media/mobile/web products quickly and at scale, and capable of synthesizing various technologies into high-quality, simple products.
You will translate a big vision into a simple set of features for iterative and experimental launches, building support for your vision while incorporating input from creative contributors. This role owns discovery technologies for audio that power key features in our apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to define and track the product roadmap and KPIs
- Translate customer insights and strategy into product requirements
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and project leads to develop solutions
- Create detailed business requirements and user stories
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs for a great customer experience
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure roadmap execution
- Work across Amazon Music and partner organizations
- Operate autonomously in a dynamic environment
- Stay updated on gen AI and find ways to leverage AI to improve experiences
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in engineering discussions and technology decisions
- Experience with feature delivery and trade-offs
- Roadmap strategy and definition experience
- Managing technical products or online services experience
- Ability to advocate for critical customers and stakeholders at the executive level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and promoting new tools
