Role Overview
The Manager of Regulatory Affairs - Advertising/Promotion reports to the Sr Director Regulatory Affairs and oversees the review of Advertising and Promotional (Ad Prom) materials. They are responsible for all operational aspects of regulatory submissions, providing planning and technical support for Baxter’s products across one or more business units or countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve advertising and promotional materials such as Medical Devices.
- Manage operational activities supporting new and existing marketing authorizations.
- Plan and prioritize complex projects.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Maintain effective communication within the RA function and with other teams.
- Proactively communicate and report to regulatory authorities.
- Evaluate scientific information, identify deficiencies, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess the impact of new regulations and provide feedback.
- Align team objectives with regulatory strategies.
- Provide strategic input for regulatory decisions.
- Support the global Ad Prom process and system ownership.
- Potentially supervise team members, including mentoring and performance management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs or Advertising & Promotion, with management experience preferred.
- Strong regulatory knowledge in Ad Prom (MLR) and related areas.
- Scientific background.
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
- Experience with Veeva Promomats is a plus.
