Position Title: Sr. UX Architect
Hire Type: Full Time Only
Job Description:
- Excellent Wireframing skills: Create system and application concepts by defining information architecture, user interface flow, wireframes, mockups, and other design guidelines.
- Capacity to independently create wireframes: On-location during whiteboarding sessions with stakeholders. Solid understanding of data-driven design activities, such as storyboarding and experience models, with experience using these strategies to create high-quality designs.
- Knowledge of UX patterns: Best practices for various operating systems such as iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry.
- Experience in user research: Planning, conducting, and leading in-house and on-field user research and data analysis. Analyze customer research and competitor offerings to conceptualize and understand users.
- Heuristic Evaluation experience: Planning, conducting, and leading detailed evaluations of existing digital products and competitive benchmarking against competitors’ similar products. Direct multiple evaluators, normalize feedback, and create reports independently.
- Communication of research findings: Effectively communicate findings to client-side and development-side stakeholders and translate those findings into tangible functional requirements.
- Generate user requirement artifacts: Create Personas, user scenarios, and other user requirement artifacts based on data.
- Managerial Skills: Successfully quantify UX involvement into various separate work tracks, including size count, effort estimation, and profitability calculation.
- Lead design and creation of applications: For desktop and mobile devices.
- Collaboration: Work with interaction designers and visual designers to refine visual interaction, promoting consistency and efficiency. Work with HTML prototyping experts to convert design ideas to click-through prototypes.
- Review work of software development team: Ensure the correct design is implemented.
- Documentation: Tracking and status documentation for various UX design tracks throughout research, design, and implementation phases of SDLC.
- Collaboration with engineers and product managers: Proven ability to work closely throughout all stages of the product cycle.
- Feedback elicitation: Ability to elicit feedback from multiple sources and act as a change agent for the team.
- Negotiation skills: Ability to negotiate appropriate turn-around time based on effort required.
- Deadline management: Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and set accurate expectations and estimates for work tasks.
- Conflict resolution: Display excellent proficiency in conflict resolutions and consensus building.
- Interpersonal and organizational skills: Excellent skills and demonstrated ability to work independently.
