Overview
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in powering Amazon's global delivery network through innovative technology and human-centered design. This isn't just about creating interfaces – it's about designing systems that directly impact the safety, efficiency, and well-being of thousands of associates worldwide.
In this role, you will tackle complex operational challenges that bridge digital and physical experiences. Your work will directly influence how our delivery associates interact with technology, equipment, and spaces, ultimately shaping the future of logistics at scale. You'll need to think holistically, understanding not just user interface design, but also hardware integration, ergonomics, safety protocols, and business operations.
The stakes are high and real: your designs will help ensure worker health and safety, reduce worker fatigue, maintain operational excellence, and build lasting trust with both our workforce and customers. You'll need to balance multiple priorities – from immediate safety concerns to long-term scalability, from user needs to technical constraints.
To succeed, you must be a strategic thinker who can navigate ambiguous problem spaces and translate complex operational requirements into elegant, practical solutions. You'll collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and safety teams, while mentoring other designers and driving design excellence across multiple workstreams. Your work will not only solve today's challenges but help define the future of how technology and human interaction come together in the logistics industry.
Join us in creating meaningful solutions that make a real-world difference in the lives of thousands of Amazon employees and millions of customers.
