Position Specific Description
We are seeking a creative and collaborative Senior Product Designer – Design Systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a systems-mindset to build and integrate consistent, efficient components across EverBright’s web and mobile products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and evolve our design system, which will empower designers, developers, and product managers to deliver intuitive, accessible, and lovable user experiences.
Position Description
Drive the vision and project management of EverBright’s design system including typography, color, iconography and componentry, as well as the tools, resources and documentation to support the system
Lead the Design System Guild, a team of designers and engineers, fostering a culture of growth and development
Maintain EverBright’s Figma libraries for desktop and mobile
Collaborate with designers to identify challenges, needs, and opportunities
Manage the system’s backlog and roadmap, while refining focus and scope of projects
Establish and maintain clear and transparent communication channels with stakeholders and users of the design system
Seek opportunities to help others — offering assistance and guidance on implementation of the design system
Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to produce insights that will drive design direction
Preferred Qualifications
4-8+ years of relevant experience
Track record of creating and managing impactful design systems
Mastery of Figma
This position is based out of Juno Beach, FL and is open to remote candidates

Job Overview
This position will be responsible for leading the design process and strategy by collaborating with cross-functional teams to research and design for energy companies using NextEra Energy software to design, sell, finance, and install projects. We aspire to design user interfaces that are efficient, intuitive, and provide clarity and insight for our teammates, customers, and partners.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to produce research insights that will drive the product direction
Lead the direction of long-term projects while mentoring those on the team
Resolve complex product challenges, often involving a strong understanding of technical, development, and/or business aspects
Communicate clearly with stakeholders to help align critical insights to the business need and timelines
Work cross-functionally with product, engineer, sales, and marketing to successfully deliver new platform designs that emphasize ease of use and aesthetic quality
Illustrate design ideas in Figma using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems using analytics tools and present proposed solutions
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they will look like
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Relevant experience: 4+ years
Relevant experience includes experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role
Design Portfolio
Preferred Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years
Bachelor's degree or Boot Camp, UX/UI Certification
