In this Audio-Visual Production Specialist position, you will serve as a producer, director, script writer, and production assistant in support of agency informational and message media production projects. You are responsible for oversight of the following program objectives:
- Serving as an authoritative technical advisor and resource to Audio Visual Production Specialists in medium sectors.
- Directing video productions in a large sector including designing sets and lighting, conceiving visuals, selecting music and sound effects, selecting and directing cameras and movement during taping, and editing video tapings.
- Providing assistance in script preparation, creating electronic graphics to enhance presentations, editing videotapes for roll-in and review, and evaluating and editing finished programs.
- Creating and maintaining a database of video imagery used for distribution as B-Roll to media outlets.
- Providing technical assistance and/or training to staff in a large sector in using audio/visual equipment.
- Assisting in social media production related tasks and performing duties as assigned by supervisors.
