The Marketing Director (B2B) reports to Year Up United's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and is responsible for leading and managing all B2B marketing activities targeted at corporate partners, donors, and other key stakeholders. This role encompasses the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance partnerships and drive growth for Year Up United. The Director will oversee all marketing channels, ensure high-quality content creation, maintain key relationships, and act as a thought leader within the organization, collaborating closely with the CMO and other leadership teams.
To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of creative and strategic thinking, with a proven track record in leading successful B2B marketing campaigns. You possess strong storytelling capabilities across various media, effective team management skills, and the ability to prioritize and distribute work efficiently. Additionally, you have a keen understanding of how to leverage customer and market insights to enhance storytelling and drive impactful narratives. Your solid understanding of both online and offline marketing tactics, combined with a data-driven approach, will empower you to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing complex projects involving multiple teams. Strong candidates will also demonstrate a commitment to advancing social justice and aligning their work with Year Up United's mission.
The Director of Marketing (B2B) will also have the opportunity to interact with young adults as a mentor, group facilitator, and mentor, contributing to a positive community environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Team Leadership Partner with the CMO and leadership teams to define the overall B2B marketing strategy and set annual priorities and budget. Translate B2B marketing strategies into actionable team goals, projects, and timelines. Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment and cross-team impact with other Year Up United departments. Support and develop team members, fostering their growth as marketing professionals aligned with Year Up United's core values. Cultivate a positive, mission-driven culture within the Marketing team that fosters a sense of belonging. B2B Marketing Strategy
Oversee the development of a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy, including channel distribution, content development, and audience segmentation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Supervise the production of high-quality, on-brand campaigns that resonate with corporate partners, donors, etc. and drive engagement. Develop and implement a robust testing framework and feedback loop to continuously iterate on creative assets and marketing channels, executing experiments and conversion tests to meet goals and KPIs. Balance content needs with team capacity and client demands, ensuring a strong ROI. Strategically leverage and oversee the martech stack tools to maximize their effectiveness, ensuring optimal alignment with marketing operations and driving impactful marketing initiatives. Relationship Management
Build and sustain relationships with key B2B stakeholders through regular communication and ensuring best practices are leveraged. Partner with RevOps and sub-brand teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with how products are messaged and informed by customer insights. Work closely with sales teams to make strategic recommendations and provide the tools and resources needed to effectively communicate the value of Year Up United to customers. National Team Member
Serve as a mentor/tutor for a small number of current students. Participate actively in staff meetings and training sessions. QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing and lead generation. Proven experience in managing teams and external relationships effectively. Strong expertise in campaign and content development, including writing, editing, video, web, and print. Familiarity with digital content distribution channels, including websites, emails, SMS, and social media. Demonstrated ability to drive integrated marketing projects with flawless execution. Deep knowledge of marketing solutions for awareness-building and lead generation. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making. Familiarity with targeted communications, funnel management, and journey mapping processes. Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Understanding of brand consistency across diverse media. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and communicate changes as needed. A passion for working with young adults, a strong belief in their potential, and a commitment to Year Up United's mission. Understanding of the Opportunity Divide and its underlying drivers. External Salary Range: $105,000 - $135,000

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Year Up United has established salary ranges for each of our sites, which allows us to pay employees competitively, equitably and consistently in different geographic markets. For roles in which the location is listed as flexible, the range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Salary offers take into account a candidate's skills, experience, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. Vacation: Earn three weeks paid vacation in first year of employment; four weeks after initial year.
